Who We Are

Namibia Savings, Insurance & Investment Association (NaSIA) is an industry body with membership comprising of Namibian registered Investment Managers, Collective Investment Scheme (CIS) management companies, Linked Investment Service Providers (LISPs), Short and Long-term Insurers, as well as other industry support service providers.

NaSIA was formed in 2017 following the consolidation of three industry bodies, Association for Unit Trusts in Namibia (AUTN), Investment Managers Association of Namibia (IMAN) and the Life Assurers Association of Namibia (LAAN). In 2026, the Namibia Insurance Association (NIA) representing the country’s short-term insurance companies was also integrated into NaSIA.

The industry body is constituted as an Association not for Gain and formally registered as such under Section 21 of the Namibian Companies Act. Collectively, NaSIA members represent the majority of the country’s custodians of non-banking financial assets.
